Levin spokesperson Ensign Anastasiya Dudaryk advised Army.com that the phoenix at the flag “rises out of the destruction, symbolizing how the group will persevere via any hardships or demanding situations.” Mendoza defined that his objective was once to design a “badass” flag for the send.
