A memorial in Philadelphia to honor American army provider contributors who fought and died whilst serving in Vietnam was once vandalized, caretakers mentioned. 

Terry Williamson, president of the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial, vandals led to $20,000 in injury, essentially the most important injury within the memorial’s 36-year historical past.

Caretakers plan to boost price range to fix the wear, which contains 20 “Big name” skate toppers pried off the marble and 10 recess gentle covers and a few lighting fixtures got rid of or smashed. 

The memorial bears the names of 648 local Philadelphia natives who died within the Vietnam struggle, very similar to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.
