COPENHAGEN, June 29 (Reuters) – Former international primary Caroline Wozniacki introduced her purpose to go back to tennis on Thursday having retired from the game in 2020 to begin a circle of relatives.
Danish participant Wozniacki spent 71 weeks on the best of the arena ratings and completed with 30 singles titles – together with a Grand Slam crown on the Australian Open in 2018.
She introduced her retirement previous to the 2020 Australian Open on the age of 29, announcing she sought after to begin a circle of relatives along with her husband, former NBA participant David Lee. She has since had a daughter Olivia and son James.
“Over those previous 3 years clear of the sport I were given to make up for misplaced time with my circle of relatives, I was a mom and still have two stunning kids I’m so thankful for,” she wrote on Twitter.
“However I nonetheless have objectives I wish to accomplish. I wish to display my children that you’ll be able to pursue your goals regardless of your age or function.
“We determined as a circle of relatives it is time. I am coming again to play and I will be able to’t wait!”
