Florida Marlins left-hander Ryan Weathers will open the season at the injured record with a forearm pressure, dealing an early blow to the crew’s beginning rotation.
A couple of studies Thursday indicated that Weathers’ timetable for a go back is 4-6 weeks.
Weathers, 25, went 5-6 with a three.63 ERA in 16 begins for the Marlins remaining season whilst lacking time with a finger pressure. In 4 primary league seasons, he’s 10-21 with a 5.08 ERA in 62 appearances (47 begins) for the San Diego Padres (2021-23) and Marlins (2023-24).
