The Philadelphia Phillies and two-time All-Megastar Jordan Romano are in settlement on a one-year deal price $7.75 million, ESPN and The Athletic reported Monday.
The 31-year-old right-hander used to be non-tendered via Toronto previous this offseason. The Phillies bolster their bullpen after Jeff Hoffman and Carlos Estevez hit loose company.
Romano went 1-2 with a 6.59 ERA in 15 reduction appearances with the Blue Jays this previous season. Romano battled accidents closing season and underwent season-ending correct elbow surgical operation in July.
He stored 36 video games in 2022 and 2023, incomes All-Megastar nods in every season. General, Romano is 20-17 in 231 profession reduction appearances with 105 saves and a 2.90 ERA.
