Both Patterson or Shrader will play for the Jets (2-6) on Thursday in opposition to the visiting Houston Texans (6-2). Each kickers labored out for the staff on Tuesday.

Additionally on Wednesday, the Jets signed linebacker Marcelino McCrary-Ball to the energetic roster and launched protection Jaylen Key from the follow squad.
McCrary-Ball, 25, has one take on in 3 video games with the Jets this season. Key, 24, has signed and been waived through the Jets on 3 events. He had but to seem in a regular-season sport, then again.
