The Detroit Tigers activated rookie outfielder Wenceel Perez from the 10-day injured record on Thursday.
Perez, 24, landed at the record on Aug. 10 with a left indirect pressure. He left yesterday’s recreation in opposition to the San Francisco Giants within the fourth inning with facet discomfort.
Perez is slashing .242/.298/.386 with 9 homers, 32 RBIs and 9 stolen bases in 97 video games this season.
The Tigers optioned infielder Ryan Kreidler to Triple-A Toledo in a corresponding transfer.
Kreidler, 26, is batting .119 with one homer, two RBIs and 5 stolen bases in 35 video games this season.
