Texas DA pointed gun at roommate and made threats, government say

A prosecutor in Texas is being charged with threatening to shoot his roommate right through an issue about jealousy after he allegedly had issue streaming pornography at the TV.

Travis County Assistant District Lawyer Joe Frederick used to be charged with annoyed attack with a dangerous weapon following the Friday incident in Austin, Fox Austin reported. 

An unidentified visitor used to be visiting Frederick as he used to be having issue streaming porn sooner than he requested his roommate to mend the problem. When the visitor used to be leaving, Frederick accused the roommate of constructing “googly eyes” at them, an arrest affidavit stated.

The roommate changed into disenchanted as a result of he felt like he used to be being known as a “hoe,” government stated. The roommate and Frederick were given into an issue, which escalated into insults. 

The roommate attempted to knock over a TV stand however used to be stopped through Frederick. The roommate then went again into his bed room and locked the door to steer clear of additional war.

The roommate reported that Frederick stated “Escape from me” and “You are a threat to your self and everybody round you.” The roommate went to the toilet and noticed Frederick going inside his (the roommate’s) bed room sooner than ultimate the door.

In the future, Frederick allegedly held the revolver, which government stated used to be totally loaded, and walked round the lounge announcing “Get the f*** out.”

No person used to be reported injured. Frederick used to be booked into the Travis County prison and launched on $10,000 bail.
