The Nationwide Park Carrier says a lacking New Mexico guy who’s “believed to have tried go back and forth down the Colorado River along with his canine on a picket raft” has been discovered lifeless within Grand Canyon Nationwide Park.
Thomas Robison, 58, of Santa Fe, used to be came upon through park rangers within the Colorado River on Friday, in keeping with the NPS.

Robison’s frame is now being tested through the Coconino County Clinical Examiner and the NPS is investigating the incident. The NPS says “preliminary knowledge” signifies that the frame is of Robison.
The reason for his loss of life is unclear.
It comes after an Arizona hiker died on a well-liked Grand Canyon mountain climbing path in November 2023 in what used to be the tenth loss of life that yr on the nationwide park.
The NPS known that hiker as 65-year-old James Handschy of Oracle, Arizona.
Handschy had spark off for a hike from the South Rim to the river and again alongside the Shiny Angel Path, the company stated, a roundtrip of about 18 miles.
