Trucker fell asleep at wheel in leadup to damage that killed 3 PA staff

A truck motive force fell asleep on the wheel ahead of hanging a building car and killing 3 staff at the shoulder of a Pennsylvania freeway in April, government mentioned Friday.

Pennsylvania State Police mentioned the 24-year-old motive force from Roxbury, Massachusetts fell asleep on Interstate 83, about 8 miles south of Harrisburg on April 17.

Investigators mentioned the person used to be riding a big field truck at about 3:25 a.m. when it struck a building car in a piece zone, then hit the 3 staff at the shoulder.

Killed have been Jesse McKenzie, 24 of Rockwood, Pennsylvania; Philson Hinebaugh III, 24, of Johnston, Pennsylvania; and Robert Hampe, 41, of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania.

The driving force used to be now not injured.
