Florida couple wears matching Cookie Monster pajamas right through tried armed theft at ironmongery store: police

A Florida couple is in the back of bars after police stated they tried an armed theft at a Cape Coral Lowe’s ironmongery store on Sunday, whilst dressed in matching Cookie Monster pajamas. 

In step with the Cape Coral Police Division, Charlie Perez, 22, and Jalina Sepulveda, 19, went right into a Lowe’s ironmongery store on Sunday dressed in matching Cookie Monster pajamas bottoms and attempted to depart the shop with out paying for a number of pieces. 

When the pair have been approached by way of the shop’s loss prevention staff, police stated the person printed a gun in his waistband, made threats and left the shop.

Perez is going through a theft with a weapon price and Sepulveda is going through theft with a weapon and battery fees.

Jalina Sepulveda, 19

Sepulveda used to be additionally arrested on October 2023 on a battery price, in line with Lee County Prison information.
