A two-mile stretch of Sundown Seashore in Huntington Seashore used to be closed Sunday after a shark sighting, consistent with a remark on X via town of Huntington Seashore.
The seashore closure came to visit 3:45 p.m. after folks reported seeing competitive shark process and an injured child whale beached.
“Whilst the whale used to be nonetheless alive, chunk marks had been observed at the mammal,” town stated in a publish on X. “In talking with the ones within the house, beachgoers reported seeing splashing & competitive shark process previous to the whale washing ashore.”

Town officers say the closure started at 4:30 p.m. Sunday and is scheduled to stay in impact till 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
