West Virginia state soldiers fatally shoot armed federal fugitive

An armed federal fugitive suspected of breaking into houses used to be fatally shot when he pointed a rifle at West Virginia state soldiers who had been making an attempt to arrest him, police mentioned.

Soldiers positioned Anthony Charles Meyers, 35, on Monday upon getting a tip from the general public, West Virginia State Police mentioned in a remark.
