DC police arrest teenager accused of committing 10 armed carjackings, robberies in in a single day crime spree

A 16-year-old was once arrested Friday for allegedly committing a chain of armed carjackings and robberies over the span of only a few hours within the D.C. house.  

D.C.’s Metropolitan Police stated a 16-year-old juvenile male of Southeast, D.C. was once arrested Friday and charged with armed carjacking and armed theft at the side of kidnapping, ownership of an unregistered firearm, ownership of unregistered ammunition, and ownership of a giant capability ammunition feeding tool. 

Police stated the suspect dedicated 3 armed carjackings between 2:44 a.m. and four:46 a.m. in Southeast, D.C. 

The suspect dedicated an armed theft and kidnapping simply after 10 p.m. later that night time, police stated.

Then, between 4:32 a.m. and 5:20 a.m. the next morning, the suspect allegedly dedicated six extra armed robberies within the Southeast and Northeast, police stated. 

Regardless that unfold out between Wednesday and Thursday, the crime spree was once roughly 3 hours in general. 

Police didn’t free up further information about the suspect’s identification and the case stays underneath investigation.
