Titans’ protection dominates Pats in preseason finale

The Tennessee Titans‘ protection allowed simply 79 overall yards in a 23-7 victory over the New England Patriots on Friday in Nashville.

The sport concluded the preseason for each groups.

Michael Dwumfour had two of the Titans‘ six sacks, and Tennessee recovered two fumbles through Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe.

The beginning quarterbacks for the Titans, Ryan Tannehill, and the Patriots, Mac Jones, didn’t play.

Malik Willis performed the entire sport at QB for Tennessee (2-1), finishing 15 of 20 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Titans operating again Jacques Patrick received 76 yards on 15 carries.

Zappe completed 8 of 15 for 57 yards for New England (1-2). Hint McSorley and Malik Cunningham blended to throw 3 passes, they all incomplete.
