GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A Houston-based nonprofit designed to carry and equip Black-owned companies is bringing its fall programming to towns round the US, together with Grand Rapids.
B3 Elevation— Branding and Construction Black-Owned Companies— objectives to empower Black marketers with strategic steering, complete coaching and grant investment.
The autumn program is a ten-week boot camp that that specialize in 4 core spaces:
- Creditworthiness— credit score ranking and endeavor expansion
- Virtual presence— internet, social media and PR
- Industry certifications— Minority Industry Undertaking (MBE)
- Coverage from felony fallout— from growing trade contracts to hiring staff
The median internet price of white families is ten instances more than that of Black families, consistent with B3 Elevation— mentioning centuries of discrimination and exploitation.
