Silicon Valley Clean Energy Launches the Small-to-Medium Business Rebates Program

Local businesses and property owners may receive up to $20k for emissions-free upgrades

Santa Clara County, Calif. – Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) is proud to announce the launch of the Small-to-Medium Business Rebate Program, designed to help local businesses and property owners with the adoption of clean and efficient electric technologies. This innovative SVCE program offers rebates of up to $20,000 ($25,000 for non-profits) for upgrading to electric heat pump water heaters and heat pump heating and cooling units, helping business and property owners transition towards an emissions-free building.

With a steadfast commitment to providing solutions that combat climate change, SVCE recognizes the role that businesses play in achieving the region’s emissions reduction goals. By encouraging the adoption of electric heat pump water heaters and heat pump heating and cooling units, SVCE aims to showcase the power of collaboration between businesses and the environment.

“Silicon Valley Clean Energy is thrilled to offer this rebate program to our local business and property owners,” said George Tyson, SVCE Board Chair and Los Altos Hills Councilmember. “We understand that for many local, small businesses, margins are tight, so we hope that by working together, we can help us all achieve our shared goals of a cleaner and more prosperous region.”

By embracing these energy-efficient technologies, businesses can experience a multitude of advantages. Electric heat pump water heaters and HVAC units not only reduce carbon emissions but also significantly improve indoor air quality, ensuring a great experience for employees and customers alike.
