Money stolen in armed theft of Naugatuck industry, police say


NAUGATUCK — A “sum of money” used to be stolen from a North Primary Boulevard industry in an armed theft past due Friday morning, consistent with police.

Police are inquiring for the general public’s help in figuring out the male suspect. In a picture shared via police on Fb, he carried a black-strapped backpack and wore a grey hood, pink sweater or sweatshirt and blue pants.

Officials spoke back to the industry at 423 North Primary St. round 11:35 a.m. Friday for a document of a theft “by which a weapon used to be displayed,” police stated in a Fb publish at 5:08 p.m. Friday. Police didn’t establish the weapon as a knife, firearm or every other roughly put into effect.
