KINSMAN — Patrick “Rick” Martinec, previously of Kinsman, kicked the bucket impulsively Saturday, March 4, 2023, whilst on holiday in Florida.
Rick used to be born to Donald M. and Mary Alice Martinec on Aug. 4, 1961, in Youngstown.
He graduated from Joseph Badger Prime College (1979) and Youngstown State College (1983), with a point in artwork / graphic design.
Rick lived in N. Weymouth, Mass., the place he used to be a skilled graphic artist who labored for the Neighborhood Newspaper Corporate, The Boston Globe, and New England Village Media — all within the Boston space.
He’s survived via his liked spouse, Maggi Brown, whom he married in 1999; sisters, Elaine Carabin of Reynoldsburg and Mary Beth Martinec (Daniel Carty) of Bozeman, Mont.; nephew and godson, Andrew Carabin; brothers-in-law, Richard Brown and C. Mark Brown; paternal aunt, Patricia Martinec; paternal uncle, John Martinec; and maternal aunts, Regina Speaker, Catherine Hanes, Michael Davies and Susan Adgate.
He used to be preceded in dying via his folks; and older brother, Donald M. Martinec Jr.
A funeral Mass used to be held April 1, 2023, at St. Jerome Church in Weymouth, Mass.
