Joey Swoll, the CEO of Gym Positivity, uses his social media to make amends for misguided videos posted by several gym-goers. He wishes to eliminate gym toxicity completely and promote a world of fitness where people support each other instead of defaming them. He often calls out people for filming and condemning other people wrongly and promoting hatred against them.

Where some videos on social media truly promote skillful people and uplift the audience, there’s another set of videos, where people are accused incorrectly, based on poor judgments.

Joey Swoll, in one of his recent Twitter videos, shares one such video of a gym goer – Abigail in the LA Fitness Gym, defaming another individual.

The video serves as a public exposure to the incident, sparking discussions and raising awareness about the importance of respectful behavior within the gym environment.

Joey Swoll’s response to Abigail’s video

Swoll reshared Abigail’s video featuring a man who has been waiting for more than 30 mins for equipment to get free so that he can continue his own workout routine. However, he falls prey in the video, where a woman has been working out on the same machine. The man is seen explaining very politely why he wishes to use the machine and that she had been using the machine for over 30 mins, which is like the maximum time to use the equipment in the gym. Abigail responds to it, saying, “I might be an hour.”

However, Abigail posts the video, puts up the location of the gym, and labels the man a creep. To this, Swoll says angrily; says that the man is literally standing 10 feet away from the machine and peacefully waiting for his turn. He is not a creep, just a gentleman who knows the rules of the gym.

He also says, “This is a video that never should have been posted.” He also adds, “You owe that man an apology.”
